How was “Lady Sue” born?

Over 10 years ago, the guy I was dating had a niece who couldn't pronounce her K's very well and she called me "Lady." My boyfriend and his family started to call me Lady and eventually my best friend started to call me Lady from hanging around with him and his family. I worked with my best friend though, so Lady followed me to my workplace. It got to the point where I legitimately responded to Lady and still do to this day. Truth be told, I've never been a fan of the name Katie so I took the name Lady and ran with it for all of my social media. When it came time to decide on a name to call my painting business, Lady Sue Designs just made sense to me. While I mostly paint canvas, I love the challenge of designing new things for people to cherish.
