While You Wait: Recipes
A little creativity for your kitchen. A little care for you.
After being diagnosed with an inflammatory disease, I began paying closer attention to what I ate and spending more time in the kitchen. As I made changes to my meals, I noticed a meaningful difference in my daily life. Cooking became another way to create something with care, and I wanted to share that part of my life with you.
If you’re hoping to feel more comfortable after meals, find steadier energy, or make room for nourishing food in a busy day, I hope you’ll find a welcoming place to start here. These are recipes I make, enjoy, and adapt in my own kitchen, with plenty of color, flavor, and room to make them your own.
Everyone’s body and needs are different. I’m sharing what has worked for me as inspiration for your own kitchen, with the hope of making caring for yourself feel a little more approachable and enjoyable.
While your artwork comes to life, try something new, share a meal with someone you love, or find a new favorite just for you. From cozy soups to something sweet, I hope these recipes bring a little comfort and creativity to your day.
