Green Spider Web — Original Artwork
The beauty of something that lasts only a little while.
This piece began with an actual orb-weaver’s web. During the day, while the spider was away, I captured the delicate structure using spray paint, then used the web to create a block-print painting.
I added resin water drops to give it the appearance of fresh morning dew—tiny details that invite you to look a little closer at the web’s intricate design.
It’s a way of preserving the beauty of something so temporary: a fragile structure that might otherwise be gone within hours, given a lasting place in a one-of-a-kind artwork.
For anyone who finds wonder in spiders, quiet details, or the small things nature creates, I hope this piece brings a little of that curiosity into your home.
Size: 6×6 inches.
Original canvas artwork with resin dew-drop details. One available.
