Ocean Isle began with a friend whose family vacationed there throughout his childhood. He asked me to paint a photograph his dad had taken at sunrise on the beach—a view filled with memories of a place they had returned to year after year.
When he saw the finished painting, he told me it captured the beauty of those childhood vacations so well that everyone in his family wanted a print of their own.
