Sunrise Drive — Art Print
Sometimes home becomes a feeling before you realize it has become a place.
I was driving back to Tennessee after leaving the Chicago area when the sun began to rise. Dramatic clouds lingered after a storm, with pockets of rain scattered around me. Ahead, the sunrise broke through, lighting the road toward home.
Chicago had still felt like home for the first year or two after my move. But on this drive, something shifted. I wasn’t simply returning to Tennessee. I was heading home.
This painting captures that moment: storm clouds overhead, light in the distance, and the quiet realization that the grass might already be greener where I was going.
Whether you’ve found home somewhere unexpected or are beginning a new chapter, I hope this piece reminds you of the possibilities on the road ahead.
Available sizes: 8×8 and 12×12 inches.
Reproduced from my original hand-painted artwork. Original artwork by Lady Sue Designs.
